Hosts need to know who is driving their car, so self-drive and out-of-city trips require a one-time verification.

Steps

  1. When you book a trip that needs it, you will be prompted to verify.
  2. Upload a clear photo of your driver's licence (and any other requested ID).
  3. Submit. An admin reviews it, usually quickly.
  4. Once approved, you are cleared for self-drive trips going forward.

Tip

Make sure your documents are valid and not expired. Blurry or cropped photos slow down approval.
